I've been coming to Dai-Ichi for years with my family. Every time we've been, we've never encountered a line and have always gotten our food fairly quickly. I highly recommend their rice bowls and tempura, as these have been my personal favorites from their menu.
The interior of the restaurant is clean and well-decorated, but can get a little warm in the summer months. Service is fast and efficient - nothing really fancy, but I hope you weren't expecting that from a spot that advertises "Japanese Fast Food". The vibe here is very casual - you order and pay in the front and seat yourself.
This is a solid place for your teriyaki bowl fix and other Japanese staples. The portions are excellent and they're open fairly late (9 P.M except on Sundays they close at 8 P.M). It's always a pleasure eating here. -

This is a part Japanese, part Chinese fast food restaurant. It is a spacious place. I ordered a fish sandwich which was good, not greasy. Tasty. I enjoyed it. It was good, better than your average fast food joint. Reasonable. The wait for the food was worth it. I would definitely order from this place again.

I moved here about five months ago temporarily. My work is nearby and I've been on the hunt for good food around my apartment and office area.
This place is straight OG from what I've been hearing. They've been around for a long time. With a very, very loyal customer base for a good reason. Ignore the negative reviews on here if you want Chinese/Japanese comfort food you've come to the right spot. I always get their chicken teriyaki plate, teppanyaki plate, wonton soup or chicken and beef bowl. I love picking up dinner here before going home to relax and watch me some Netflix
The food is amazing and comforting and it has fair prices. Good food. Good value. That's what it comes down to and the customers that have been loyal to this place know that.
This Yelp page is not claimed by the owners of the restaurant. They just do their thing, keep serving and keep cooking. They could care less of what the haters or the people with negative energy has to say. And they're still here. I wholeheartedly admire this place and will miss it very much when my company relocates me down to Los Angeles.
This place is basically Yoshinoya on steroids.
If you've been turned away because of the ridiculously bad and hateful reviews on here I highly recommend you ignore what an overall rating of a Yelp page says and be the judge for yourself. -

This place shouldn't even get 1 star. I went in this evening for something good to eat. And ordered the Kung Poa plate. Three other customers of another race was served before me. They had multiple orders of food and each was made and delivered before my order was even put in. I know this because I heard my order delivered to the kitchen after the other guest was served. You can get excited for their racism an patronize this place. Or you can be suspect for the quality of food delivered from racist. I didnt eat the $12 fast food for fear it was tampered with. No refunds either! Why would anyone eat this food after such treatment? Unbelievable audacity! I will tell everyone I know, and I know people around the world from every race of people. I've dine with sheiks (royalty), at the world's first seven star hotel in Dubai, and thousands of finer establishments (I'm a retired Naval Veteran, and small business owner, never have I had this kind of service, even from obvious racist) And I'm like a chef myself and usually prepares my own creations that look and taste appealing, but this look like a hot mess, and it doesn't even have shrimp in it. Which raised further suspicion where this food came from. Ok after further inspection I found the shrimp. ! But I still didn't eat it after this gross racist behavior. Am I wrong for these accusations? My daughter laughed at me and believe all people love everyone.

This place was so good. Ill get pics next time. We had plain chow mein, chicken egg rolls, orange chicken plate and the beef and susho plate. And they have root beer floats for 1.75. Looks family owned. Super friendly and the food was good and fresh. Definitely will be a regular place we go for lunch
